Last year we burned these blackboys as part of our bushfire preparation. This afternoon as I was checking to see if any bees had been caught in my bee trap, I realised there were five flower shoots. The bees love blackboy flowers, which usually only shoot after a fire... I’m so glad we could provide some for them.
